INTRODUCTION
So many advertisements are published every day. Through this, people get to know about the product and the way ads are made and campaigned. When I saw the Levi’s go forth add, I decided that this would be a wonderful add to campaign and analyse. I decided to campaign on Levi's Go Forth campaign because I thought since nowadays we see people wearing jeans everywhere irrespective of their age and gender. People love to wear jeans as it is comfortable to wear, easy to clean and it shows soothing, casual, freedom attitude of life. Levi’s is a very famous and well known American brand name for denim jeans. It was in coherent in the last seven years and now it is spread worldwide. It is the spirit which still lives in the Levis and their jeans. Levi’s was founded in 1873 and Levi’s Strauss was the founder of this brand name. He opened a branch in San Francisco. Levis jeans are famous all over the world and the young generation enjoy wearing it. Levi’s first denim jean was blue in colour as Levi’s Strauss had a craze for it. (Strauss, 2010)There were four pairs of vintage Levi’s® jeans which were created they were the XX, the 501® jean from 1879. This is also known as one of the oldest pair of jeans in the world. This campaign is targeted to America’s pioneering spirit and to the young youth worldwide. The Levi’s Go Forth campaign is recognized and I believe that the people are now looking forward to make new changes and transform the world.
It has become very easy to do this through the social networking sites like face book and twitter. The social networking websites have made communication faster as a result we can come in contact with the people who are even far away from us. As new technologies are invented and discovered communication has become even faster (Levis Go Forth Global Campaign, 2011). Even through television and digital media it has become very convenient to advertise about any product now. The campaign is an attempt to enhance the brand’s image, to fit the current social state of youths who are the ultimate consumers. Levi’s jeans are popular among a wide range of youth. Independent and optimistic people are ready to embrace challenges and change the future for a better tomorrow. The consumers for the Levi’s campaign are the same young consumer worldwide. They are believed to be the ‘workers’ who are ready to take action, and enclose all the challenges that they see around them. They are independent and confident, and they believe that their generation has what it takes to make a meaningful change in the world; this is a fundamental shift from previous generations. The Levis Go Forth campaign brings the consumers not only experience with the brand but beyond just buying their jeans.
